ISRAEL KILLS THREE YOUNG MEN IN THE CITY OF JENIN

At dawn on Friday June 17th, Israel's occupation forces killed three young men in the city of Jenin on Palestine's occupied West Bank. The victims were shot dead inside their car in the eastern part of the city.

They were Bara’ Kamal Lahlouh(23), from the Jenin refugee camp, and Yousef Nasser Salah(23) and Laith Salah Abu Srour(24), both from the city of Jenin itself.

There are two different versions of what happened. According to the first one, Israeli occupation forces targeted the men in a deliberate ambush. Their killing would have been followed by a gunfight, in which Israeli occupation forces would have wounded 9-10 other Palestinians.

According to the second one, Israeli occupation raid would have led to a gunfight, in which the three men would have taken part. As they would have been leaving the site of the gunfight in their car, it would have become 'jammed' (apparently by Israeli occupation forces) and they would have been shot dead inside it by occupation troops which would have surrounded it. In this version they wouldn't have been the intended targets of the raid.

The 9-10 wounded persons would have in this case been injured during the preceding gunfight. No matter at which point they were wounded, one suffered severe injuries and three others injuries described as being from moderate to severe.

At least two of the men seem to have been affiliated with resistance factions, assuming the flags covering their bodies during funeral procession is an indication. At least one of them would have then been affiliated with the Islamic Jihad based on this. Beyond this, a purported Hamas' comment on the killings called Bara' Lahlouh a 'field commander', which would then likely mean he was a member of its armed wing, the al-Qassam Brigades.

Israeli occupation forces claimed it's soldiers would have found two M-16 rifles 'at the scene', which would mean that one of the three would have been unarmed.
