GRANDFATHER FATALLY SHOT BY ISRAEL'S OCCUPATION FORCES

Israel's occupation forces on Sunday June 19th killed 53-year-old grandfather Nabil Ahmad Ghanem, from the village of Surra in the Nablus governorate, when they opened fire at a group of Palestinian workers.

The fatal incident took place near the village of  Jaljulia, close to the city of Qalqilia, on the occupied West Bank.

Israeli occupation claimed both that Ghanem would have tried to 'damage' the illegal Wall and 'infiltrate' Israel.

There are contradictory reports of the incident; apparently dozens of workers tried to cross the illegal Wall so that they could get into their jobs in Israel, possibly after first being denied crossing by Israeli occupation forces, even when they would have had permits.

Some reports claim that Ghanem died instantly; one, quoting Israeli occupation, claims that he arrived at a hospital in Israel in a critical condition and died soon after.

ISRAEL KILLS THREE YOUNG MEN IN THE CITY OF JENIN

At dawn on Friday June 17th, Israel's occupation forces killed three young men in the city of Jenin on Palestine's occupied West Bank. The victims were shot dead inside their car in the eastern part of the city.

They were Bara’ Kamal Lahlouh(23), from the Jenin refugee camp, and Yousef Nasser Salah(23) and Laith Salah Abu Srour(24), both from the city of Jenin itself.

There are two different versions of what happened. According to the first one, Israeli occupation forces targeted the men in a deliberate ambush. Their killing would have been followed by a gunfight, in which Israeli occupation forces would have wounded 9-10 other Palestinians.

According to the second one, Israeli occupation raid would have led to a gunfight, in which the three men would have taken part. As they would have been leaving the site of the gunfight in their car, it would have become 'jammed' (apparently by Israeli occupation forces) and they would have been shot dead inside it by occupation troops which would have surrounded it. In this version they wouldn't have been the intended targets of the raid.

The 9-10 wounded persons would have in this case been injured during the preceding gunfight. No matter at which point they were wounded, one suffered severe injuries and three others injuries described as being from moderate to severe.

At least two of the men seem to have been affiliated with resistance factions, assuming the flags covering their bodies during funeral procession is an indication. At least one of them would have then been affiliated with the Islamic Jihad based on this. Beyond this, a purported Hamas' comment on the killings called Bara' Lahlouh a 'field commander', which would then likely mean he was a member of its armed wing, the al-Qassam Brigades.

Israeli occupation forces claimed it's soldiers would have found two M-16 rifles 'at the scene', which would mean that one of the three would have been unarmed.

OCCUPATION KILLS A YOUNG MAN IN HALHOUL

27-year-old construction worker Mahmoud Fayez Abu Ayhour was fatally wounded by Israel's occupation forces in the occupied West Bank town of Halhoul on June 9th.

Israeli occupation forces had raided a money exchange office in the town, taking cash from it and welding its door shut, and were then confronted by locals.

Occupation forces attacked the protesters with live bullets and both concussion and tear-gas grenades. Abu Ayhour, who was working on a construction site close to the money exchange according to some reports, was hit in his abdomen and aorta.

A video shows wounded Abu Ayhour being lifted up by helpers on a street, before the open gate of what appears to be a largely empty lot.

He died of his wounds in the al-Mezan hospital in the city of Hebron.

FIRST KILLING OF 2021 BY ISRAEL'S OCCUPATION FORCES

EDIT: It has been now reported that the shooter of Ahed Khalil was not a member of Israel's occupation forces, but an illegal Israeli settler who acted as a 'security coordinator' with Israeli occupation forces.

Israeli occupation forces fatally shot a young man in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday January 5th, his death becoming the first killing by the occupation troops during 2021. The shooting took place four days after the shooting of Haroun Abu Aram(24) in Masafer Yatta, which left him paralyzed below the neck.

The killing took place near the massive, illegal Gush Etzion colony near Bethlehem. Israeli occupation has made the usual excuses after the incident. The victim is claimed to have had either 'an axe' or 'a knife', and is accused of 'trying to stab' - by throwing the alleged weapon...

Israeli occupation claims that he was shot after throwing the alleged weapon, which would mean that he would have been shot while being unarmed.

News reports give several different versions of the dead young man's name. All versions of the last name have the same origin Ekhlayyil/Ikhlil/Khalil but that is not the case with his first name: Most sources give Ahad/Ahed, but Ahmad is also given. At this point Ahad/Ahed seems the more likely one, as most sources use it.

One source gives as his paternal name Abdurrahman.

His age is given in different sources as 24 or 25 years. All sources agree that he was a resident of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, not far from the site of the shooting. Israeli occupation invaded his home town after the shooting and his close relatives were called for interrogation by Israeli occupation intelligence, in the same illegal Gush Etzion colony bloc.
